Consonants: k, g, r, z, kh, th, d, t, b, br, l, m, n, gr, kr, gh.

Vowels: a, o, u, e. (i appears rarely in loans.)

Phonotactics: heavy on closed syllables; common finals: -k, -d, -r. Blends gr, kr, br are frequent.
